Precision Micro, Europe’s leading precision metal component manufacturer, and its customers are now reaping the benefits of the Company’s business strategy, despite the economic difficulties that continue to hamper the engineering industry.

The Company’s relocation into what is thought to be the only purpose built photo-etching facility in Europe, during the latter part of 2007 has proven to be an excellent move in retrospect. The new 44,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant is focussed on providing a better, more efficient and more cost effective service for customers, factors that have been critical in gaining new business.

That said, possibly the key to the Company’s ongoing success is the long term partnerships it has forged with customers, through a combination of technical leadership, perpetual innovation, and the presence in the field of country specific representatives and agents who all have a high degree of technical expertise.

In the past 12 months, Precision Micro’s export sales have risen dramatically and now represent almost 50% of the Company’s turnover.

In addition, our engineers have successfully developed LEEP and LEEF (Laser Evolved Etching and Electroforming Processes), two unique process routes that increase manufacturing accuracy while also improving the lead times we are able to achieve.”
