Keypads and Fascias

Keypads and fascias are used extensively in electronics 'box build' and for independent control panels, especially in medical and other high hygiene applications.

Fascias
PRECISION MICRO
manufactures many bespoke machine plates, panels and fascias using its unique combination of manufacturing techniques. Wire EDM profiles thicker materials while preserving the material surface finish. Permanent graphics are then created using the Photo Etch process and can be filled with a variety of coloured epoxy materials for enhanced impact.

For thinner materials, the Photo Etch process can profile, pierce and graphic in a single operation, saving time and money.

Keypads
Membrane switch technology is used extensively for control panels in a wide variety of industries and applications. Where there are requirements for high hygiene and durability, stainless steel is used as a continuous membrane attached to the front of the switch array.
PRECISION MICRO has in-depth experience in the production of these components; incorporating bespoke graphics and creating reduced thickness, flexible panels within larger fascias for the attachment of membrane switch arrays.


Dome arrays
In order to provide an enhanced level of tactile response to membrane switches, collapsible domes are incorporated in the array manufacture.

High volumes and prototypes are produced using 3Dpc Technology, Profiles are manufactured by Photo Etching and subsequently formed using modular standard tooling.
