Laminations

PRECISION MICRO has in-depth expertise in the manufacture of laminations for high speed and ultra high speed motors (typically 60k rpm.). The Company produces and bonds stacks of laminations (both ‘E’ and ‘I’ profiles) incorporating top and bottom resist layers and insulative coatings as required. Great care is taken to ensure complete circularity of both the individual laminate and stack.

Laminations

E core is a range of high silicon, ferrite core materials, frequently specified for precision motor applications. PRECISION MICRO is one of the few companies to stamp this brittle material successfully.

Economical efficient production methods

Prototype quantities are easily produced by Wire EDM or Photo Etching.
Volume requirements can be met by Photo Etching with tooling manufactured from the same original digital data.
Stack coating, assembly and bonding are all carried out in-house.
